"For unto you is born this day in the City
of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you;
you shall find the babe wrapped in
swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel
a multitude of the heavenly host praising
God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the
highest, and on earth peace,
goodwill toward men.'
That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown."

Merry Christmas To ALL!

We had a great time at the park taking pictures of the kids. As usual, it was very windy here, but it was great getting out of the house and spending some time outdoors. Looking back at these pictures makes us happy and sad. We cannot believe how fast this year has gone and how much the kids have grown. These pictures were taken at Bear Creek Park in Keller.

Order Up!

We have a new cook in the house. Our little girl went to a friend's birthday party and received chef tools as party favors. Since then, she has been cooking away. She likes to make pancakes with banana slices and chocolate chips! Yummy....

Our BIG First Grader!

Our big boy really loves school and was very excited about starting first grade. He is looking forwarding to his new classes - P.E., Music and Art!

The Greatest Show on Earth!

We had lots of fun at the circus. We arrived early so we could go down for the preshow. The kids tried on costumes and enjoyed watching the acrobats up close. Their favorite parts were watching the elephants, horses and tigers!

Big Girl Bed!

Tony converted her crib to a big girl bed and she absolutely loves it. We were worried that she'd have a hard time adjusting but, she did very well. She has to use a stool to get on the bed so she calls it her "princess bed".

Yippee!

We all had a great day yesterday and woke up this morning feeling very rested! I definitely feel like we are getting over our "bug". Talked to Sheila on the phone last night about our "bug" and we laughed so hard! This is definitely something we won't forget anytime soon! (Giggle, Giggle)

Just say "NO" to Burgers Lake!

Oh my goodness! Although we had a great time at Burgers Lake we are now wishing that we did not go. We just saw on the news today that Burgers Lake was closed due to a water parasite. No big deal, right? Wrong! We have been sick for several days with what may be Cryptosporidiosis. It seems that we got it from Burgers Lake. Everyone is feeling a little better and we are praying that the worst part is over.

Burgers Lake - July 6, 2008

We went to Burgers Lake with our friends, the Ditzlers. We all had a great time. Dylan especially loved diving from the high dive and swinging into the water. Malone enjoyed eating watermelon and riding an alligator. Yes... I said alligator!

We have a blog!

Yes! We finally have our own blog. For the longest time I didn't even know what a blog was. You have to admit the name "blog" doesn't sound very exciting. Anyway, hopefully this will be a way for our family and friends to stay in contact with us and see what we have been up to. Let me tell you now... I am not very photogenic so don't expect to see very many photos of me. You'll have to see my handsome husband and beautiful children!
